No More Blogging

To let you all know...I didn't just slack off on this blog. We were told by the school district that we could no longer blog for our class. So I am sorry... and no more cute pictures posted. I love my 4th grade Busy Bees!

Track 1 and Track 2 Bee Leaders 2009

New Bee Leaders were voted in on February 20th! Bee leaders have the opportunity to serve their classmates by looking out for those who need extra help, support, comfort, and direction. They assist Mrs. Young with small tasks, run errands, and most importantly set an EXAMPLE for all bees to follow. Congratulations to all!

Wow! We have been busy! Thanks to many parent volunteers, our Valentine's Day Party was full of sweet "somethings" and enough Valentines to last a whole year through. Our BEE-utiful Valentines Boxes were turned into a Busy Bee Post Office - where everyone could write, write, write cursive letters. I am seeing a huge change in their cursive. Keep writing BEES!

SEP = Success

Dear Busy Bee Families,
Thanks for your BEE-MAZING response to our recent SEP Conferences! I enjoyed visiting with each of you and CELE-BUZZING your success! We had only 10 Percent of our Families not make it to SEPs. However, many of them had met with me previously. I want to congratulate MY BEES for their hard work in our recent District Reading Assessment (DRA). I saw great improvements, especially with summarizing a non-fictional text! Thanks for your support and your dedication to your education. It is this partnership we have that brings success.
